Jog Falls
Jog Falls is one of India’s most spectacular waterfalls — the Sharavathi River drops 253 metres into a deep gorge, creating a misty and powerful natural scene. It’s best visited during and just after the monsoon (July–October), when all four streams — Raja, Rani, Roarer and Rocket — flow in full force. The drive through the Western Ghats from Gokarna is also very scenic, making this a great full-day trip and one of Karnataka’s top natural attractions.
